Samuel Baggen has released a new development build of Elive, version 1.9.44, a distribution and live CD featuring the latest Enlightenment 17 and based on the stable Debian GNU/Linux 5.0: “The Elive team is proud to announce the release of the development version 1.9.44. Changes: live CD – improved detection of partitions; RAM – Memtest86+ updated to version 2.11 with more features and special support for Intel Core 2 Duo computer processors; installer – work on installer to manage mounts and umounts better, but please report any problems that you may encounter with the installer on the IRC channel; Linux kernel version 2.6.26.8 (revision 41).
