Anne Nicolas has announced the availability of the first release candidate for Mandriva Linux 2010: “Mandriva Linux 2010 RC1 is now available on public mirrors. This RC1 version is available as: ‘Free’ edition, 32-bit and 64-bit installation DVDs; dual-architecture installation CDs; ‘One’ installable live CDs with either KDE or GNOME; VirtualBox image. These ISOs are hybrid images which means that you can dump them on an USB key; use Mandriva-seeds – it’s as easy as a click! This RC1 is a bug-fix release with some major updates: many bug fixes in Mandriva tools, especially in network tools; many bug fixes in both KDE and GNOME desktop environments; kernel 2.6.31 final release. This release comes with new integration of Nepomuk in KDE.
