Yuko Yamaguchi, the designer of Hello Kitty for most of the Sanrio mascot’s 35-year history, will celebrate the brand’s anniversary at the Royal/T café and art space in Los Angeles this Saturday. Simone Legno, the Italian creator of the tokidoki brand, will join Yamaguchi from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. From October 23 to November 15, Royal/T is hosting a “Three Apples” exhibition during which more than 80 artists will display works inspired by Hello Kitty.
